Elementary| Connect the Dots (Week 3)

During Week 3 of Connect the Dots, we meet Abraham’s twin grandsons, Jacob and Esau in A Heel, a Meal, and a Steal in Genesis 27. We’ll learn that some Biblical families were not always perfect, or even close.

What’s the One Thing to remember? God’s plan wins even when I sin.

What can you do about this? I can rely on God’s grace. When we sin we can always remember that we have a God who still loves us even at our worst and died to forgive us!

Shine Like the Stars
Philippians 2:14-16

The Bible teaches us that when we do what Jesus says—like when we don’t argue or complain—we will shine like stars! There will be people around us who complain or argue, but we can choose to do what Jesus says with a happy heart. Then we will shine like the stars in the sky.

The One Thing: I shine when I do what Jesus says.
